Vancouver artist Karyn Chopik has explored the accessory industry for over two decades. Graduating from the University of Alberta with a background in fine arts, she soon became partner in a successful jewelry company with handmade product sold in stores across North America.

When the industry shifted to mass-produced work, Chopik's business sense led her to explore sales, forming an accessory agency, representing top designers such as Karl Lagerfeld. Longing for hands-on creativity, she returned to her passion in 1998 with the birth of Karyn Chopik Studio.
